A matched pair of French gilt wood footstools in the Louis XV style dating form the late 19th century. These incredible footstools were obviously made by the same crafts person as they are both carved in their entirety. They are carved and gilded inside and out. They are a larger size for this type of stool and the measurements listed are for the larger of the two. They smaller one is 16.25"deep, 21.25"wide and 13.75 high, including the cushion. The upholstery is in old but good condition and can be used, but they are being sold for the frames only, we didn't upholster them.
